I am the second of seven brothers born on a farm in Northwestern Kansas. The family relocated to Colorado in 1959. I am a Vietnam Era veteran and married the love of my life before going overseas. After the Army we settled in Allenspark and I began a career as a plumber in Estes Park. I was also on the local water board, and was fire chief when we relocated to Huerfano County. Our first house cost $25,000 in La Veta and there was a new ski area starting in Cuchara. I had several jobs before starting a thirteen year run with the Cucharas Sanitation and Water District full time. I then took over the position of water and wastewater treatment plant operator for the Town of La Veta part time and as a master plumber part time. I have since retired from those positions, but still stay active in the world of water. I continue to fill the position of Municipal Court Judge for the Town, which I
have held for several years. I fish when I get a chance and used to spend time at rodeo, most notably as a wild horse racer with over thirty appearances on the track at Cheyenne Frontier Days and a dozen go-rounds at the Colorado State Fair. My children both attended K-12 in La Veta and my granddaughter is currently in school here as well. My family and I have a long standing relationship with La Veta and Huerfano County and I am pleased to continue to be of service to the community now as a real estate agent . I am very pleased to have been accepted by Bachman & Associates as a licensed broker and to have access to the top rated professionals and expertise available in that office. Now that I have been involved for a while it is easy to see why they list and sell more real estate than any other agencies in the bi-county area. I look forward to a fruitful career.
